The IUT Scholars’ Club welcomes all the Faculties and Staffs including the Ph. D. Scholars in the ICFAI University, Tripura (IUT) community. The purpose of the IUT Scholars’ Club is to encourage inter-professional collaboration and providing a central forum for making connections and seeking support. The IUT Scholars' Club is proposed in the belief that those who pursue Doctor of Philosophy are recognized for their ability to provide to the community, educational pathways and network with likeminded scholars; alongside maintaining high honors in their coursework and education.
The IUT Scholars’ Club is a fantastic opportunity and shall offer help to the scholars to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence to secure a place at a competitive scenario. It shall help students to improve their critical thinking, written communication and university self-efficacy. The aim of the IUT Scholars’ Club is to be a platform that allows a research scholar to develop, invest and build confidence and determination in them. The premise of the initiative derives from the notion that a peer culture of attainment and achievement will motivate the scholars to have more strong academic performances. It also encourages students to be a part of this peer identified culture. It is designed to offer enhanced academic and social opportunities also. It will enrich the scholars to develop their critical thinking skills.
The following activities but not limited to, may be proposed to conduct by the Scholars’ Club of the ICFAI University Tripura.
- Research Workshops: Organizing workshops and seminars on research methodologies, data analysis tools, and other relevant topics to enhance the research skills of club research scholars.
- Research Presentations: Providing a platform for research scholars to present their research findings to their peers, receive feedback, and improve their presentation skills.

- Journal Clubs: Organizing regular meetings where research scholars discuss and critically analyze recent research papers or articles in their field of study.

- Conferences and Symposia: Participating in or organizing conferences, symposia, or research expos to showcase the research conducted by club research scholars and network with researchers from other institutions/ Universities.

- Professional Development: Offering workshops and sessions on skills important for research, such as academic writing, grant proposal writing, and data analysis.
- Publication Support: Assisting research scholars in preparing research manuscripts for publication in academic journals and guiding them through the submission process.
- Community Outreach: Engaging in community service or outreach programs related to the research field, such as science education for local schools or workshops for underprivileged communities.
- Social Events: Hosting social gatherings, networking events, and informal meetups to foster a sense of community among research scholars.

For this IUT Scholars' club are maintaining a annual news letter entitled, "IUT Research & Development News Letter".
- Competitions and Awards: Organizing research competitions and awards to recognize outstanding research contributions among club research scholars.
- Professional Networking: Facilitating networking opportunities with alumni, professionals in the field, and researchers from other universities.
- Resource Sharing: Creating a platform for research scholars to share research resources, including books, software, and datasets.
- Career Development: Providing information and support for research scholars' career development, including job searches, preparing for academic positions, and transitioning to industry roles.
