The Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the ICFAI University, Tripura is established to promote quality education, research, training, and consultancy in pharmaceutical sciences with a global perspective, addressing the challenges of the rapidly evolving healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.

The Faculty offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Pharmaceutical Sciences, designed to equip students with strong theoretical knowledge and practical skills in drug development, formulation, quality control, pharmacology, and clinical pharmacy.

The Faculty aims at developing competent pharmacy professionals through rigorous full-time programmes. It recognizes individual differences among students and strives to provide well-structured and innovative training that enhances their professional competence, technical expertise, and ethical standards.

Moving beyond conventional “show and tell” methods to a “learning by doing” approach, the curriculum is skill-oriented and offers extensive opportunities for laboratory work, industrial exposure, research activities, and community engagement. Students are encouraged to integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines and apply it effectively in real-world pharmaceutical and healthcare settings.

As a professional institution, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences is committed to preparing qualified professionals in pharmacy practice, research, industry, and academic leadership. Students are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards and adhere to professional codes of conduct in all aspects of their education and practice.

The programmes emphasize training in areas such as drug formulation and development, pharmacological evaluation, pharmaceutical analysis, regulatory affairs, and clinical research. Students are also exposed to hospital and industrial training to gain practical insights into the pharmaceutical profession.
